Improvement always shows the second time round

, My Mum bakes cakes as well (she did a Pikachu and needed anatomy help) so I can see the frustration she probably was in sculpting and icing her.

Working with fondant is always frustrating! But this was only the 3rd cake I had decorated with the stuff, so I was still a bit clueless. I know what to expect now at least! Doesn't make it any easier to work with, mind you...

heh, learning your material helps with how to use it best. Mum uses ready to roll royal icing, she mainly has problems with colouring it with the paste, but she still turns up awesome cakes
